Klondike Solitaire

Klondike is the second most popular solitaire game in the world.

The "Klondike" Solitaire is the second most popular one after the "Spider Solitaire". Klondike rules are as follows. One standard deck of 52 playing cards is used. In the upper right corner, there are 4 cells in which you need to collect the sequence of cards from Ace to King for each of the four suits.

28 cards from the deck are split into 7 columns. The first one contains 1 card, the second one has 2, the third one has 3, and so on. The last card is turned upside down. Open cards can be placed on top of each other, provided that the bottom card should be of a different color and one rank lower than the card above. You can move the cards stacked in order at once. You can put only kings or sequences of cards, starting with kings in empty columns. The remaining 24 cards are put in a stack in the upper left corner.

There are two versions of Solitaire Klondike. In the first one, when you click on the deck, one card is laid out, which you can move. In the second version, three cards are provided at once, but only the last one can be moved. The version with three cards offered at once is much more difficult than the first one. In case of a random order of cards, Solitaire Klondike is unsolvable in more than half the cases. However, we use a special algorithm for generating layouts, owing to which, the probability of solving the solitaire on our site is more than 90%.

There is a simplified version of Klondike, in which all the cards on the table are open and you can put any cards, and not just kings, into the empty columns.

On our site, you can play Solitaire Klondike online for free and without registration.
